mandarin is such a pretty language and then there’s cantonese where all it is is yelling and everyone sounds upset

and then there’s shanghainese which nobody understands, sob

i only know one phrase in shanhainese…nong nuo zi wa ta le!

and i don’t even know if i spelled it right T_____T
