This is brilliant. I just hope people get it. 

This was actually a VERY well-done skewering of the double standard out there. Thanks, SNL, I have faith in you again.

There are still people out there claiming none of this stuff is a double standard, and that it’s not racially charged. Also saying that the “Chink in the Armor” headline wasn’t racist, because the idiom predated the derogatory term “chink” and that people should “stop looking for racism where there isn’t any. I’m sorry, you give me a better explanation for why that same news outlet used the headline once before, when the Olympics took place in China. Or why another news outlet placed Lin’s picture over a fortune cookie. Has a black basketball player’s picture ever been placed over a picture of fried chicken with the phrase, “Finger licking good”? No, because that’s wrong.

You try being called a chink since you were in a kindergarten, and come back and tell me “Chink in the Armor” isn’t racist.
